Our quiet beachside holiday home is just a 10-15 minutes drive North from Cairns city and Cairns Airport. Yorkeys Knob is easily accessed by traveling north along the Captain Cook Highway and taking the Yorkeys Knob turnoff which is the third roundabout north of Cairns.

Yorkeys Knob is the ideal base for all your Cairns tours, located just five minutes by car from skyrail Kuranda rainforest cableway, Tjapakai aboriginal cultural center, cablesky, smithfield shopping center and James Cook University.

Visit all the other Cairns beaches like Holloway Beach, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach and Palm Cove as these are all close by.

For tourist information we can assist you or you can just take a 10 minute stroll to the Yorkeys Knob Tourist Information Centre at 8 Rutherford Street, Yorkeys Knob. They have a huge range of over 300 tours and can book all your of your Cairns tours, car hire and activities for you. Or contact us and we can pre-book all your Cairns tours for you. Yorkeys Knob car hire is available from the Yorkeys Knob Tourist Information Centre or we can pre-book a car for you from the airport, train station, Cairns or from here ate Yorkeys Knob.

Sunbus also goes to Smithfield Shopping Centre and James Cook University. The local bus stop is just 5 minute walk from the holiday house.

Yorkeys Knob Boat Club / Marina

Located very close by walk or catch the free curtesy bus which will pick you up and drop you off from the holiday rental. This world famous venue is ideal for dinner overlooking the coral sea.

Yorkeys Knob Golf Course

Very close by: walk or drive there, and enjoy a round of golf at this very popular Cairns gold course.
